2M Alliance restores Felixstowe port call on AE7 service
Maersk line's container loading
The 2M alliance, comprising Maersk Line and MSC, will restore the Felixstowe call on the AE7/Condor service, connecting Far East Asia with Northern Europe.
Following the announcement to temporarily remove the port of Felixstowe from service in November 2021, the largest alliance in the container shipping market has now decided that its AE7/Condor service will return to Felixstowe - the main port in the UK, Great Britain.
Maersk said in a statement: “we have identified that overall operational capacity at the Felixstowe terminal has improved and we have confidence that the AE7 service call will prove valuable and reliable for customers."
According to Maersk shipping line, the first ship back to the port of Felixstowe started from week 14 with the Monaco Maersk 206W/211E.
