APL removes port congestion surcharge (PCS) for refrigerated goods exported to Shanghai and Ningbo
APL Shipping announced that the use of cold plugs has improved at the ports of Shanghai and Ningbo. As a result, nearly all refrigerated consignments have been diverted to other ports in the process of being transported back to their final destination.
Prior to this recovery, APL will cancel the Port congestion surcharge (PCS) for cold shipments exported to Shanghai and Ningbo from March 16, 2020 (according to the bill of lading date).
