COSCO SHIPPING connects Europe and South America with new service ESE2

ESE2 services cover the entire Southeast US region, radiating more efficiently to markets such as Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. ESE2 services calling at ports such as Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Paranagua, Itapoa and other major ports in Plata have been introduced.

ESE2 calls at various ports in Europe, including consuming markets such as the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium, customers can count on more accurate deliveries to the European region, while calling in Lisbon reflects the diversity of this service and will boast continuous development for potential markets.

ESE2 offers a consistent weekly service and has very competitive transit times from the East Coast of South America to Europe, for example connecting Santos to Rotterdam in just 18 days and back in 26 days.

By using products in the European supply chain and transit network, COSCO SHIPPING connects all regions in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean region with the main economic regions of the East Coast of South America.

With the launch of ESE2, COSCO SHIPPING as a trusted partner and carrier supports customers' long-term evolving needs, further reinforcing the customer-centric concept with on-time transit Faster, reliable schedules and comprehensive coverage.

The new ESE2 service will start in Montevideo on September 16, 2023 in Montevideo, Uruguay, with COSCO SHIPPING's “Xin Nan Tong” becoming the first vessel on the new service. In Europe, the “Xin Chong Qing” vessel will start on September 21, 2023 from Rotterdam.

The new ESE2 service has the following itinerary:

Rotterdam – London Gateway – Hamburg – Antwerp – Lisbon – Algeciras – Santos – Paranagua – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Itapoa – Paranagua – Santos – Rio De Janeiro – Algeciras – Rotterdam.
