COSCO SHIPPING Launches Sustainable Shipping Service Hi ECO

COSCO SHIPPING Lines announced its pioneering initiative in providing biofuel for its operating vessels to achieve measurable carbon emission reductions by 2022.
The COSCO SHIPPING carrier strives to assist its customers in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and actively contributing to sustainable development. The Hi ECO green transportation service, utilizing eco-friendly biofuels, offers a solution for customers to easily reduce carbon emissions on their cargo trips by minimizing the carbon footprint throughout the entire "Well To WAKE" life cycle.
COSCO SHIPPING Lines stated: "Through this added service, customers can reserve climate-friendly freight to fulfill their requirements for environmentally friendly transportation."
Volvo is the first customer to engage with COSCO SHIPPING Lines for the green transportation service, and the Chinese shipping company will provide Volvo with cross-continent cargo transportation services through the Hi ECO green service offerings.
