Ocean Alliance announces upgrade of its global shipping service network

The Ocean Alliance includes shipping lines CMA CGM, COSCO, OOCL and Evergreen, has announced its latest network of global shipping services, which will launch in April with 42 services, 352 container ships and an annual capacity of 22.4 million TEUs on the world's major trades.

The Ocean Alliance container shipping alliance has announced a new "DAY6 Product" service group, which includes the following global services:

7 services on Far East - Northern Europe route

OCEAN Alliance has 7 services on the Far East - North Europe trade, of which 4 have been upgraded, providing direct connection services between 18 Asian ports and 15 North Europe ports and large coverage with about 100 pairs of ports. This is a service group that has a comprehensive competitive advantage with high frequency.

The Ocean Alliance will offer four services on the Far East-Mediterranean route, including an upgraded service. These services provide extensive coverage with direct connections between 15 Asian ports and 16 Mediterranean ports and provide coverage of approximately 120 port pairs.

The Ocean Alliance will further strengthen its rollout by upgrading and launching new services to meet growing demand for a total of 23 transpacific services in the "DAY6 Product" service group, including including three upgraded services and three new services (PSW2 + USEC1).

11 Pacific Southwest Services

The "DAY6 Product" service group will include 11 services, with 2 additional services and 2 upgraded services compared to the 9 services in the "DAY5 Product" service pack. OCEAN Alliance will provide direct trains from South China, North China, China China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

The newly added AWE7 service will provide direct ports from South China, China and South Korea to key ports in the South Atlantic region including Savannah, Norfolk and Miami, providing market coverage extensive market and ports of call designed specifically for the customer.

OCEAN Alliance will deploy one of the largest vessels, offering comprehensive direct connectivity and transit time advantages in the Middle East region. In 2022, COSCO and OOCL will provide a stable service on the MEX service by deploying 20,000 TEU container ships.

Launched in the spring of 2017, Ocean Alliance is the world's largest maritime alliance between shipping companies on the world's major trade routes.
