ONE, Maersk and MSC to Suspend China-Australia (CAE) Service
April 6, 2020 - Singapore
Due to the impact of COVID-19, Ocean Network Express (ONE) suspended the China-Australia service (CAE) which is jointly operated with Maersk and MSC. The suspension is expected to last until at least the end of the second quarter of 2020.
To assist customers during this time, the Hong Kong port will be added for the Northeast Asia - Australia (AUN) service - also cooperated with Maersk and MSC - to compensate for affected ports. affected by CAE service suspended.
CAE port rotation:
*Xiamen – Nansha - Hong Kong – Yantian – Melbourne – Sydney – Brisbane – Xiamen
The last CAE sailing before the suspension will be scheduled to depart Xiamen April 22nd..
The new AUN port rotation:
*Yokohama – Osaka – Pusan – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo - (Hong Kong) – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane - (Hong Kong) - Yokohama
The first AUN sailing with Hong Kong call will be the MOL Genesis, scheduled to depart Yokohama April 21st.
The carrier will continue to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19 and advise customers on service changes as needed.
