Qatar Airways Cargo Gradually Resumes Global Operations

Qatar Airways Cargo is steadily restoring its freighter operations, officially publishing an updated schedule with increased flight frequencies to and from Doha. This new schedule is effective from March 29 to April 15, 2026.

According to the carrier's representatives, all flights will continue to operate within dedicated flight corridors, in close coordination with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.

Expanded Operational Network

Qatar Airways Cargo's network now covers key markets across Asia, the ISMEAP region, Europe, and Transatlantic trade lanes:

● Asia: Sydney, Melbourne, Phnom Penh (KTI), Shanghai (PVG), Shenzhen (SZX), Hong Kong (HKG), Almaty (ALA), Macau (MFM), Muscat (MCT), Singapore (SIN), Seoul (ICN), Bangkok (BKK), Hanoi (HAN), and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN).

● ISMEAP & Africa: Ahmedabad (AMD), Mumbai (BOM), Bengaluru (BLR), Delhi (DEL), Hyderabad (HYD), Johannesburg (JNB), and Lagos (LOS).

● Europe: Brussels (BRU), Liège (LGG), Prague (PRG), Paris (CDG), Frankfurt (FRA), Budapest (BUD), Amsterdam (AMS), Madrid (MAD), and London Stansted (STN).

● Transatlantic: Key connections linking Europe, the US, and Latin America, including routes via Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Liège, Milan (MXP), Warsaw (WAW), and transit hubs such as Chicago (ORD), Atlanta (ATL), Dallas (DFW), Miami (MIA), and Panama City (PTY).

Boosting Belly-Hold Capacity and Booking Advisories

Alongside its dedicated freighter fleet, passenger flights carrying belly-hold cargo are also gradually being ramped up, contributing supplementary freight capacity across the airline's entire global network.

However, shippers should note that certain specific cargo categories remain under restricted acceptance.
 
Specifically, items including human organs and live blood (LHO), very important and urgent Q-Prime cargo (VIC), and live animal shipments (QRLIV) transiting in Doha for over 24 hours will strictly require special approval. All other cargo products are currently available for booking via Qatar Airways Cargo's Digital Lounge platform or through local sales teams.

Commenting on this recovery effort, the airline's representative shared: "We are grateful for our customers’ patience and continued support during this period of disruption. Safety and wellbeing remain our highest priority, and we continue to work to minimise inconvenience wherever possible."
