RCL, along with partner shipping lines: Emirates Shipping Lines (ESL), China United Lines (CU Lines) and Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) introduce a new weekly service, connecting Southeast Asia, the Middle East and West India.

This new service is named 'RGA'. RGA service uses 5 container ships of 2,000 TEU size with the following itineraries: Ho Chi Minh, Laem Chabang, Port Kelang, Sohar, Jebel Ali, Nhava Sheva, Port Kelang, Ho Chi Minh

The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Ho Chi Minh City on June 22. RCL will deploy the Vira Bhum vessel for this service.

According to an RCL spokesperson, “The new RGA will improve its connections between the Middle East and Western India with the Far East, complementing RCL’s existing China-Gulf service. With the call at Ho Chi Minh & Laem Chabang, our customers can load direct into Jebel Ali, Sohar and from Jebel Ali, Sohar can also load to Nhava Sheva while customers from Jebel Ali & Nhava Sheva will have a direct sailing into Ho Chi Minh and Laem Chabang the key destinations for Arabian and Indian export.”
