2M Alliance announces service changes on Transpacific route
The world's largest container shipping alliance, 2M Alliance, has announced the suspension of TP23/Liberty service and the addition of the port of Charleston to the TP17/America service.

Two members of the 2M Alliance, Maersk and MSC, said it was a move to adjust container capacity "in line with the slowing demand on the Transpacific US East Coast network".
The vessel IAN H voyage 5E, November 23 in Vung Tau, will be the last on Liberty service, until further notice.
In addition, the first vessel to call at the Port of Charleston on the TP17/America service will be AXEL MAERSK with voyage 248W, with an expected date of call at Hong Kong on November 27.
The ship's itinerary on TP17/America service will be as follows:
Hong Kong – Nansha (China) – Yantian (China) – Vung Tau (Vietnam) – Singapore – New York (USA) – Charleston (USA) – Savannah (USA) – Miami (USA) – Freeport (Bahamas) – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) – Hong Kong
