COSCO SHIPPING launches two new direct services from Vietnam to USA in January

As the top carrier on the world, COSCO SHIPPING keeps on improving services to our valued customers. Now we are pleased to launch the new service for providing the more stable and better service to our customers. We will have two new service (AAC and AWES) from Vietnam to USA, especially add a direct service from HPC -USWC.
1. AAC Service
From January 2023, AAC service would be restructured to improve service quality. The new AAC service will perform rotation Cai Mep – Hai Phong – Long Beach – Cai Mep, sailing on weekly basic, ETA/ETD Cai Mep on every Tue/Wed, ETA/ETD Hai Phong on every Sat/Sat.
On Eastbound, it takes 24 days to Long Beach from Cai Mep and only 21 days from Hai Phong, which is a benchmarkable lead time in the market now. On Westbound, it takes 21 days from Long Beach back to Cai Mep.

Besides that, for Intra Asia trade, AAC also could offer direct service from Cai Mep / Hai Phong to Xiamen and Ningbo with short transit time. From Cai Mep, it takes only 6 days to Xiamen and 9 days to Ningbo. From Hai Phong, the transit time even shorter, 3 days to Xiamen and 6 days to Ningbo.
With current designed rotation, AAC is become one of COSCO’s key services, provides better service integrity to meet customers demand.
2. AWES Service
Start from January 2023, COSCO would launch new direct service ex Cai Mep to US East Coast through Suez Canal, which named AWES, sailing on weekly basic, ETA/ETD Cai Mep on every Friday/Saturday. On Eastbound, it takes 31 days to New York, 33 days to Norfolk, and 36 days to Boston from Cai Mep, offers more direct service options to fit customers exporting plan at most.

Furthermore, according to the designed rotation, vessel would call Mundra before US ports, so AWES service also can offer direct service from Cai Mep to Mundra, India as well with transit time 10 days only. This is one of remarkable advantages of the new service.
AWES is COSCO private service, aim to provide more convenient and stable direct services to customers.
