COSCO SHIPPING Ports achieves over 130 million TEUs in 2022

COSCO SHIPPING Ports, a global port operator, has announced its business results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022.
The Chinese port operator giant revealed that their total throughput for the year 2022 was 130,107,074 TEUs, which is a 0.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
COSCO SHIPPING Ports' total revenue for 2022 increased by 19.3% to USD 1.4 billion, with a gross profit increase of 32.1% to USD 429.7 million.
Looking towards 2023, COSCO SHIPPING Ports said that it will continue to follow the 14th Five-Year Plan, improve operational efficiency, expand into global markets, and leverage its comprehensive strength to improve in areas such as sales and marketing, port management and operation, "green" logistics, low carbon and digital transformation, expand business, and expand supply chain projects to promote high-quality development.
