Container shipping alliance THE Alliance (THEA), which includes Hapag-Lloyd, HMM, Yang Ming and Ocean Network Express (ONE), has decided to make changes to its Transpacific-East Coast Network.

THE Alliance will suspend EC4 services from week 46 and adjust existing EC1, EC2 and EC5 services.

According to THE Alliance, these adjustments are aimed at providing customers with regular and comprehensive service, and the effective sailings will be announced shortly.

The newly updated EC1 service will call at Xiamen port with the following port rotation:

Kaohsiung (Taiwan) – (new) Xiamen (China) – Yantian (China) –Yangshan (Shanghai)– Ningbo (China) – Pusan (South Korea) – (Panama-US) – Manzanillo (Mexico) – New York (US) – Norfolk (US) – Charleston (South Carolina) – Savannah (Georgia) – Manzanillo – (Panama) – Rodman (Panama) – Kaohsiung

The newly updated EC2 service will call at Yantian port with the following port rotation:

Qingdao (China) – (new) Yantian (China) – Ningbo (China) – Yangshan (China) – Pusan (South Korea) – (Panama) – Cartagena (Colombia) – Savannah (US) – Charleston (US) – Wilmington ( US) – Norfolk (US) – Cartagena (Colombia) – (Panama) – Pusan – Qingdao

In addition, the new EC5 service will call at the ports of Charleston and New York with the following port rotation:

Laem Chabang (Thailand) – Cai Mep (Vietnam) – Singapore – Colombo (Sri Lanka) – (Suez-Egypt) – Halifax (US) – New York (US) – Norfolk (US) – Savannah (US) – Jacksonville (US) ) – (new) Charleston (US) – (new) New York– Halifax – (Suez) – Jebel Ali (UAE) – Singapore – Laem Chabang
