CEVA Logistics Acquires Fagioli Group: A Strategic Move into the Heavy-Lift Sector

CEVA Logistics has officially signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Fagioli Holding S.p.A and its affiliates. This transaction - currently subject to regulatory approval - will add one of the world's leading experts in project logistics and heavy-lift operations to CEVA's service portfolio.

The acquisition is expected to significantly expand CEVA’s project logistics capabilities. This move allows the company to offer end-to-end solutions for complex cargo, spanning from the initial project design phase to transport, final installation, and handover.

Profile of a Heavy-Lift Specialist

Fagioli Group is globally renowned for its engineering expertise and execution of large-scale project shipments. The company reported revenue of €216 million in 2024 and operates extensively across key industrial markets.
 
Fagioli's core activities include specialized transport, heavy lifting, and complex installation works.

Under the plan, CEVA will integrate approximately 450 Fagioli employees, including over 40 specialized engineers. Fagioli's technical team and extensive fleet of owned and rented equipment will perfectly complement CEVA's existing global project logistics network.

This combined capability will strengthen CEVA’s presence in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. Simultaneously, the deal supports CEVA's operations in the Middle East and East Africa, building upon the foundations of recent joint ventures and acquisitions.

Leadership Vision

Commenting on this strategic collaboration, Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics, stated that Fagioli's reputation and technical know-how create a strong strategic fit. He noted that this transaction will enhance CEVA's ability to deliver advanced and end-to-end project logistics solutions.

From the partner's perspective, Fernando Bertoni, CEO of Fagioli Group, said that joining CEVA will provide the company with broader market access and the financial backing to drive long-term growth.

This move follows CEVA's recent acquisition of Borusan Lojistik in Turkey, reflecting the group's consistent strategy of expanding into high-value logistics segments and strategic geographies.
