CNC Enhances JTX Service: Direct Call to Sihanoukville and Optimized Transshipment via Vung Tau

In response to growing demands for supply chain efficiency and speed within the region, CNC – the Intra-Asia specialist – has announced plans for a significant upgrade to its JTX (Japan - Thailand - Vietnam Service). This adjustment focuses on improving transit times, enhancing schedule reliability, and expanding network connectivity capabilities across the region.

Strategic Improvements on the New JTX Route

The upgraded version of the JTX service is designed to ensure seamless cargo flow with several key highlights:

1.    Direct Sihanoukville Connection: The new service establishes a direct link from Japan and South China to Sihanoukville port (Cambodia). This delivers faster and more reliable transit times for the rapidly developing Cambodian market.

2.    Optimized Japan Port Calls: The schedule at Japanese ports has been streamlined, reducing transit times and assisting shippers with more accurate planning.

3.    Elevated Transshipment Role for Vung Tau and Shekou: The new JTX route will leverage Shekou (China) and Vung Tau (Vietnam) as strategic transshipment hubs. This facilitates expanded coverage to global destinations, making it ideal for exports from Sihanoukville and regional connections back to Japan.

4.    Accelerated Niche Thailand–Cambodia Connectivity: Improved transit times for intra-regional shipments between these two key markets.

Detailed Rotation and Vessel Schedule

The new Port Rotation for the JTX service will be as follows: Tokyo – Yokohama – Nagoya – Shekou – Nansha – Laem Chabang – Sihanoukville – Vung Tau – Shekou – Tokyo.

The first sailing to adopt this upgraded schedule will be the ASL Hong Kong, voyage 0QIN1S1N, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Tokyo on February 26, 2026.

This upgrade by CNC not only solidifies the carrier's presence in the Cambodian, Japanese, South Chinese, and Thai markets but also empowers businesses with the flexibility and speed required to thrive in the current vibrant Intra-Asia trade landscape.
