SITC Restructures China–Vietnam–Malaysia Service Network

SITC has announced a restructuring of three liner services linking China, Vietnam, and East Malaysia. Under the revised network, the carrier will introduce new port calls and adjust the rotation of existing services to improve operational efficiency and enhance regional connectivity.
Key Changes
As part of the latest network optimization, Qinzhou will be added to the CVM service, while it will be removed from the CVM2 rotation.
In addition, the ports of Ho Chi Minh City and Bintulu will be transferred to the CMI2 service, allowing SITC to better balance its service network and improve operational efficiency across the three routes.
Updated Port Rotation
Following the restructuring, the three services will operate with the following port rotations:
CVM
Nansha – Shenzhen (Shekou) – Ho Chi Minh City – Batam – Kuching – Phuoc An – Qinzhou – Nansha
CVM2
Nansha – Shenzhen (Shekou) – Kota Kinabalu – Muara – Nansha
CMI2
Yangpu – Qinzhou – Phuoc An – Jakarta – Bintulu – Ho Chi Minh – Yangpu
According to SITC, the latest service network adjustment is intended to optimize its operations across Southeast Asia while strengthening connectivity between China, Vietnam, and East Malaysia to better support the region's growing intra-Asia shipping demand.
