COSCO SHIPPING Awarded for its Digital Supply Chain Platform in the Automotive Industry

On September 22, 2023, the North Bund 2023 International Shipping Forum, themed "Openness, Cooperation, and Innovation: Co-building a New Landscape of Global Shipping & Aviation," was held at the Grand Halls in Shanghai. Representatives and experts from industry regulatory agencies, port and maritime companies, research institutions, and industry associations from around the world gathered in Shanghai to discuss the current development, challenges, and future opportunities of the maritime transport industry, with the common goal of promoting the industry's new development.
During the opening ceremony on the morning of September 22, 11 significant achievements in the high-quality development of the maritime transport industry were announced. One of these achievements was the digital supply chain platform for the automotive industry provided by COSCO SHIPPING.
COSCO SHIPPING is actively working to connect the modern logistics industry with the advanced manufacturing industry to address the transportation challenges that the automotive industry faces. They have created a dedicated digital supply chain platform for automotive transport with intelligent, comprehensive, and green supply chain solutions.
This platform integrates digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence, and 5G to seamlessly connect all aspects of the maritime transport industry.
