A framework investment agreement has been officially signed between Mr. Ga-Hyun Chung, SAS Shipping Agencies Services S.a.r.l. (SAS Lux) - an entity under the MSC Group - and Sinokor Maritime Co., Ltd. This move aims to establish a joint ownership structure within the South Korean carrier.

Details of the Joint Control Structure

Under the core terms of the agreement, SAS Lux will acquire a 50% stake in Sinokor Maritime. The MSC-affiliated entity will share joint control over the shipping line with the current sole shareholder, Mr. Ga-Hyun Chung, who will retain the remaining 50% equity.

This proposed transaction was officially notified and submitted to the relevant antitrust and competition authorities on February 25, 2026, pending further regulatory approvals.
