In a developing story for the aviation industry, Qatar Airways Cargo has officially confirmed a temporary suspension of its freighter operations to and from its Doha hub. This emergency move is a direct consequence of the closure of Qatari airspace amidst significant regional volatility.

Facing an abrupt disruption to the global supply chain, the carrier is actively implementing response measures. A spokesperson for Qatar Airways issued an official statement regarding their current roadmap:

“The airline is working closely with government stakeholders and the relevant authorities to support impacted customers and will resume operations when the airspace re-opens.”

Furthermore, the spokesperson forecasted a "ripple effect" on transit times even after the restrictions are lifted:

“Once usual operations resume, we anticipate delays to our flight schedule.”
