At this time, Dryad Global advises all commercial operations to avoid any transit or activity within the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of Ukraine or Russia in the Black Sea, while commercial operations in the The EEZs of Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania remained unaffected at the time of reporting.

As the situation evolves, there remains a high degree of uncertainty regarding freedom of navigation throughout the wider Black Sea.

"Vessels and commercial operators are reminded to avoid all operations and transit within the EEZ of Russia and Ukraine at this time. No attempt should be made to access the Sea of Azov," pointed out the maritime security company .

Dryad Global says that Russia is said to have no intention of targeting any civilian or foreign ships through military action.

At the same time, on 15 February, the Joint War Committee added the Ukrainian and Russian Seas of the Black Sea and the Sea of ​​Azov to the Hull war, Piracy, Terrorism and Related Perils Listed Areas.
